Find the y-intercept for each of the new equations:

a) write an equation of the line that passes through (1,7) and is parallel to the line:
y = 3x + 2

b) write an equation of the line that passes through (9,2) and is parallel to the line:

c) write an equation of the line that passes through (-1, 8) and is parallel to the line:
