Iunderstand the algebra in solving this linear inequality, but don’t understand why the interval notation is written as (-infinity, 3]! is it because the question is and instead of or and doesn’t sufficiently work for both equations? if it didn’t work wouldn’t it be something along the lines of doesn’t work? ?
