So basically the square is 2 x 2 so that’s 4
Drew the triangles the problem would be 2 x 2 x 1/2 cuz a triangle is one half of a square
2 x 2 is 4 but 1/2 of 4 is 2 same for other triangle so if you add the 2 + 2 and the 4 that would give you 8
