General form of absolute value equation is

|ax + b| = c

where c is the distance between the middle of the given solution and the end of the solution

x=2  or x=4

middle of 2  and 4 is 3

Distance between 3  and 4  is 1 .  so c=1

Hence c is positive. so option B is correct

(5) For all  absolute value , there will be two solutions

|ax + b| = c, when c is positive then there is 2 solutions.

When c is 0 then there will be only one solution

So answer is 1 or 2 solutions

i believe the answer is c.

the functions have the same rate of change i think. i narrowed it down to this answer and "the rate of change of tour 1 is greater" but i got it wrong using that answer so im assuming its the answer above. (this is a question i also answered from the iready site if anyone needs a reference)
