How do i find the scale factor of this problem

To find a scale factor divide corresponding parts from the preimage to the image.

This would be 30/5. 
- 30 is the length of the preimage
- 5 is the length of the image

This would result in 6.

So the scale factor is 6.

The answer to your problem is 6. hopefully this helped. all i did was divide 30 by 5 to get 6 and 24 divided by 4 to get 6 as well

You must find the surface of the block therefore 98187 dived by 5628 = 583m squared
