x = y+9

However,

But, y = x-9
Therefore,
x = 0.56(x+x-9) = 0.56(2x-9) = 1.12x - 5.04
(1.12-1)x = 5.04
0.12x = 5.04
x = 42 points
And
y = x-9 = 42-9 = 33 points

Therefore, scores obtained by each are 42 and 33 points.
