Task 1: Recording the Interviews
In this activity, you will evaluate the argument of the institutional anomie theory by conducting interviews with a school administrator and a working couple who has two children. Record the interviews in a question-and-answer format.
Task 2: Summarizing the Interviews
In this task, you will summarize your findings with respect to both the interviews.
Task 3: Evaluating the Findings
In this task, you will evaluate whether your findings conform to the institutional anomie theory, in which the focus on money deprives these "institutions" from performing their functions of deterring criminal activity.
