Ali G. Bell was hired by a major electronics manufacturer as the executive in charge of the design and production of a new cell phone, called the Final Fone. In the month before the Final Fone's introduction at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Bell found herself working 18 hours a day and sleeping in her office.
