Most of us paying attention recognize that these Hearings are basically a formality, in that, Republicans will vote for Barrett and Democrats will vote against no matter what happens. If this is the case, Barrett will get confirmed because Republicans currently have 53 of the 100 votes in the Senate. Since that is true, should there be another way to confirm a nominee?
