El sello definitorio del Estado es la autoridad, el derecho a mandar. La obligación primaria del hombre es la autonomía, la negativa a dejarse mandar. Parecería, pues, que no puede haber solución para el conflicto entre la autonomía del individuo y la autoridad putativa del Estado. En la medida que un hombre cumple con su obligación de hacerse autor de sus decisiones, se resistirá a la pretensión del Estado de tener autoridad sobre él.

“En las sociedades y grupos sociales que funcionan democráticamente y en los que los asociados participan efectivamente en las decisiones, es posible superar la oposición que plantea el autor.” Valora esta afirmación, aportando razones en pro y en contra.
