The economic plan of the United States that would give economic aid to free and democratic countries of Europe was the Marshall Plan.

Explanation:

The Marshall Plan, or the European Recovery Program, was the US's primary program for European reconstruction after World War II. The program was the idea of Secretary of State George C. Marshall.  

After World War II, Eastern Europe was part of the Soviet sphere of influence, and with the help of Marshall, Western Europe was supposed to protect from the spread of communism. Western European countries committed themselves to the United States with the help of the Marshall Plan.

1893 - the panic of 1893 took place. (what a creative name)

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
