US responses to Japanese aggression in the Pacific region were:

i. The United States defended the island of midway in the battle of midway

ii. Unites States declared the war in as per the Pearl Harbor attack.

Pearl Harbour attack was a Japanese aircraft military invasion instituted on 7th December 1971. This invasion created nous of suspicion for Japanese Americans and for that reason the US “War Department” found it doubtful to permit them to be present in on the Western Coast. It was suspected that they were involved in spying for Japan. Around 1,200 leaders of the community were detained and the blackout was being imposed in their dwelling regions.

Another response from the US was it’s defending of Midway in the conflict of Midway.  It took place just six months off the attack on Pearl Harbour by Japanese. Japanese intended to eliminate American supremacy over the pacific region and begin its “East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” but the conclusion of the battle ruined the confidence of the Japanese as afterward the combat Japanese found themselves incompetent of mending its causalities, on the other hand, United States' economies dogmas helped them to recapitulate easily.
