How do the 16th 19th and 26th amendment change relationship between state governments and federal government

They probably made the relationship between state and federal government worse as take the 16th for example giving the Federal Government the power to tax the States with no objections. Think about it back then the country is still kind of new and is about to go into a civil war, these amendment is a part of the cause of the civil war. So it worsened the relationship.
