How did california differ from the united states in terms of interactions of whites and natives?

Indigenous inhabitants, called native American were 500 tribes which are currently living in boundaries of California except for Hawaii. These tribes are federally registered by the US.

With a $2.8 trillion economy, California is higher than that of any other state. California is also known for Hollywood and computer, internet industry. If California were a country it would be a 5th largest economy of the world greater than UK and France.
