The decision in brown v board of education mainly makes an argument for which cause?

The main event to spur from this court case is the little rock nine which was a huge contributor to the African American Civil Rights movement of the 1960's. It basically made it to where African Americans can legally attend school with white students despite the racist outrage of many white supremacy groups such as the KKK.
