What is the difference between enslaved and indentured servants?

Enslaved Africans were kidnapped and transported in crowded ships to the North American colonies as part of the Triangular Trade Route. They worked on plantations to cultivate cash crops for European colonists, which were then sold to European countries. Despite being treated as property and having no human rights, enslaved Africans found ways to continue to celebrate their African culture. These cultural traits can still be seen today in American society. Enslaved people are people who are forced to work without pay and are owned by another person while indentured people work for a specific amount of years to pay off a debt. The similarities are that both enslaved and indentured people  is that both work as labor but the difference is that enslaved people are forced and not paid while indentured servants are working to pay a debt, enslaved people are also usually Africans while indentured servants were poor white men.
