Political: Well, The Declaration of Independence is a declaration of war so...It causes a rift to form between the two already distant lands. England is over in this land and it takes days if not weeks for communication to play back and forth. The King is taxing the colonies to pay for a war that the 'American's' fought in. They were being taxed for what they felt was unjust.
Social: ties in with political. Many of these Americans did not want war with England as they were proud to be English. The classes began to divide between who was loyal to the throne and who would be that 1%.
Economic:The King taxed the American colonies for whatever he could. This caused retaliation such as the Boston Tea party. With goods being taxes so high and good being 'caught in the fire'... Also, England began to cut off trade for the American colonies, pirating their trade ships, and taking their imported good, and forcing men to join the British navy when captured on these ships...let me just say, this did not end well...for them.
