In Chapter 2 we saw the creation of the federal system of government arise in the Constitution, a complete shift from the Articles of Confederation. Why did the Framers reject a confederated form of government? If
given the opportunity to select it over a federal system, what form of government would Americans favor
today? Look at the political climate today and how some states have really pushed the limits of "state's
rights" in laws they have passed, political culture, etc.
