Santa's legal team submits a request for the U. S. Supreme Court to hear their appeal. The Supreme Court agrees to review the case, and grants certiorari.

Santa's legal team appeals the ruling to the Court of Appeals, arguing that Jack Frost, the District Attorney, withheld evidence clearly showing that it was an accident.

The District Attorney and Santa's lawyers present competing witnesses, sets of evidence, and arguments to prove their sides of the case.

In a 7-3 decision, the Supreme Court reverses the lower court, finding that the District Attorney's actions clearly affected the outcome of the trial.
