Explain in your own words how a bill becomes law?

Both the "House Of Representatives" (House) and Senate have to approve the bill in identical form.. After it is sent to the president, he/she can sign it and it becomes a law asap. If the president does not take any action for longer than 10 days and congress is in session the bill will be a law immediately.
