3. 'A dermatologist brought together sixty-five young people who were prone
to acne. Every day for four weeks, he fed each of them either a super-
chocolate bar, containing ten times the chocolate of an ordinary candy bar,
or a look-alike candy bar that tasted like chocolate but contained none.
None of the subjects knew whether or not they were eating real chocolate.
"Halfway through the experiment, the dermatologist switched bars on the
subjects. The subjects' acne was not affected by including chocolate in their
diets. The dermatologist's experiment suggests that chocolate is not to
blame for complexion problems.
