Read some of the Jewish accounts of how alive and well it is.People still don't feel much empathy for those who face and live with terrible diseases or other non-trivial problems.People still don't study carefully why the Nazis were so successful. It's almost a forbidden subject.People don't understand the role of large government and why  you should never have one.The American Constitution is almost waste paper for all that it means to most.Ditto for the Declaration of Independence.
