PC 241 and PC 243(e)(6) battery with special conditions, has to do with special classes, where the victims are either peace officers, firefighters, EMT's, intensive care paramedic, physician or nurse, WHICH IS NOT TRUE with regards to the elements of the crime: A.) The assailant knows or should reasonably know, that the victim is in this "class" of protected victims

B.) The person must be engaged in the performance of his or her duties at the time of the assault

C.) The person assaulted must be a class member ​
