Analyze why freedom of religion was important in the founding of some of the english colonies while being denied in others

Some of the English Colonies in America were formed by people that were running away from religious persecution in Europe, because of that in those colonies freedom of religion was very important for them, for example, the Massachusetts Bay or Pennsylvania and Maryland.

In other colonies, freedom of religion was not something they aimed, for example at Fort Caroline.

well let's see i know a little about the fall of the roman empore but what to say i do not have a clue of what to say.
