Due to war times the industry needed workers, so they were forced to allow the incorporation of women in the labor market, even in the heaviest tasks, previously developed only by men. Female labor accounted for 40% of production. By showing they were responsible to work,  and also by being part of the active economy women started to pursue professional education and careers, therefore nowadays women feel they have more options to choose, rather than staying only at home.
