With the development of the industrial facilities, the production of goods skyrocketed to unimaginable levels up until then. The machines were able to speed up the production significantly, so the production was much easier, and for the same time it was significantly bigger.

Also, this led to the goods being cheaper. Less people were needed to perform certain work with the help of the machinery, and also it was all going much more quickly and much cheaper, which in turn resulted in cheaper products.

The quality also changed of the products, for some products for good, for some for worse, though as the industry developed more and more, the quality was becoming better and better over time.
