How did america become involved in worldwide military conflict?

America had gets involved military conflicts for several reasons:
 1. It has been one of the 13 British colonies and it fought for its independence, American Revolution;
2. It is an ally of other countries, like Cuba;
3. Have greater power through territorial expansion;
4. Stop terrorism;
