Leviathan was written by Thomas Hobbes and it was published in year 1668. The name Leviathan derives from the biblical Leviathan. This book is regarded as one of the oldest and mist influential examples of the Theory of social contract. The work which is mentioned in this book majorly concerns the structure of the Society and legitimate government. This book further argues for a social contract and rule by an individual.  

In the initial parts of the book, Thomas Hobbes focuses on the policies made by the government taking human account into consideration and in his book he presents Image of a man as a matter in motion. He states that Good and Evil are nothing more then a mere term and these words are only used to curb the desires of an individual. He concludes his book by stating that natural condition of humanity is a state of eternal war and it is only the government which can hold a society together.

richard allen was a minister for a african methodist episcopal church. he was also a educator and a writer one of america most active and influential black leaders. in 1794, he founded a african methodist episcopal church in philadelphia, pennsylvania. the church that he founded was the first independent african american denomination in the united states. he was a influential leader that makes many people feel comfortable under his preachings. they trusted him and supported him even though it could get them in trouble because slavery was happening. he risked his life to bring slaves and others closer to god and writing books. as a boy he and his family were slaves but some how he managed to teach himself how to read, write and preach. he has written four books about his life, slavery and hymns/preaching.
