What ultimately led to the failure of communism?

Communism failed to provide incentives for workers and citizens to work hard and be productive. While there are many benefits from equality, if pushed to an extreme it robs people of an incentive to make an effort. There was little if any reward for hard work or innovation and a lack of punishment for poor or inefficient work. The lack of incentives was a major reason for the poor performance of Eastern Europe economies.

As you know there are still countries that use communism (NORTH KOREA..) but there is only a few because of the countries that didn't want communism Like the usa they frantically fought against most communists. They would even help anti-communists even if they were dictators. I think it is because of the people not wanting to live in a place that sucks...

Social darwinism refers to the the theory that people who succeed in our economic system will one day out compete those who fail. one day the rich will out succeed the poor so we'll that there will eventually be no more poor
