During the industrial revolution, how did innovations in technology affect the use of slave labor in the united states

Technology advancement , especially in agricultural sector,  significantly increased the total production. This cause the demand of overall labor decreased. The northern US, who utilized more of this advancement more than their southern neighbor, manage to produce hundred times more output than the southern who still depended on their slave labor

The american anti-slavery society (aass) (1833–1870) was an abolitionist society founded by william lloyd garrison, and arthur tappan. frederick douglass, an escaped slave, was a key leader of this society who often spoke at its meetings.
