Why does the Zohar say in volume 17, "The commandment is repentance, and it is for the son of god, because of our sins when the temple was destroyed, nothing was left for us, only verbal confession alone, which will help congregate us Israel, into a kingdom, which is achieved by verbal confession. Who is the son of God… he is surely hooked with God, which alludes to him being very unfinished at hooking to her (Israel) (Revelation, 19:7-8) for her to receive the reincarnation. For everyone who repents it is as if he has returned to God, which is the kingdom, about the second usage of the word hooked, which being very unfinished, is to the son of God. Thus through him, God being hooked with God is COMPLETED, because the son is the secret of hooking together with God… When a person sins, he certainly causes God to distance himself from the hook (Christ)... because of this the temple was destroyed and Israel was driven away from there and dispersed among the nations. Because of this, whoever repents, affects the return of God's hook (christ), and redemption depends on it. Consequently everything depends on repentance. This is what the former ones have said. The intermediate return of the coming of messiah has passed, bad has come to worst, and it is contingent upon repentance only." The Jewish holy scripts say the same thing as the Christian. Why?​
