El articulo 328 , 329 ,330 y 331 de nuestra Carta Magna establece que la Fuerza Armada Nacional constituye una instituciòn esencialmente profesional organizada para garantizar la independencia y soberania de la Naciòn y asegurar la integridad del espacio geogràfico mediante la defensa ,militar , cooperar con el mantenimiento del orden interno y participar activamente en el desarrollo nacional en la forma como determina la Constituciòn Nacional y la ley . Esta organizaciòn militar está integrada por :
a) El Ejército.
b) La Armada.
c) La Aviación.
d) La Guardia Nacional.
Que tienen como responsabilidad la planificación , ejecución y control de las operaciones militares . La Guardia Nacional se encarga del mantenimiento del orden interno.
