What do you think would have happened if the U. S. had never built a hydrogen bomb?

The hydrogen bomb gave the United States a short-lived advantage in the nuclear arms race with the Soviet Union. If the U.S hadent built the hydrogen bombs an additional amount of soilders would have been killed because there would not have been a lagre hardship (such as the hydrogen bome) in their way .
