I’m a virtual learner and this classmate that I’m not even friends with texts me every morning and every hour asking if we can work together on assignments. I’m a nice person but it’s getting kind of annoying. Yesterday she asked me to send a pic of my project to her and today she asked for the math test and Spanish test answers. Now, she’s tryna get me to work on the study guide with her. But she never actually wants to work with me, she just asks where I am on the assignment and to send what I have. Would it be bad if I just stopped responding ??

Imo, I wouldn’t think it’s bad to stop responding. It seems that this classmate of yours is only trying to get your answers so they don’t have to put any effort or work into their own assignments and projects. I just think that your classmate is trying to give off the idea that if they say both of you can work on the assignments together in order to help each other out, yet in reality they’re just maybe manipulating you. Well maybe not manipulating exactly, but in a sense they kind of are. All in all, I’d say that it really isn’t bad to stop responding to them. However, if you do want to work together on assignments, then I think you should set things straight with your classmate and tell them that you really shouldn’t be giving them the answers as that really isn’t helping them education-wise and that if they want to work with you, they actually have to chip in and put in the work as well and not only depend on your for the answers.
