I'm going to write out some statements people might have said before the Cuban Missile Crisis. Each one of these statements is something
people would PROBABLY NOT be saying after the crisis. Write out
WHY people would no longer be saying that.
1. We NEED to declare war on the “reds!"
2. I feel safe in America.
3. IDiplomacy? With the Soviet Union? Never!
