How did some farmers react to the new taxes

The farmers reacted by planting more crops because they thought if they planted more acers crops they will get more money to pay off the debts

They didn't like that they were being taxed so much especially since the crops' values have been going down. 

Contributing factors  leading  to the harlem renaissance were the great migration of african americans to northern cities, which concentratedambitious  people in places where they could encourage each  other, and the first world war, which had created new industrial work opportunities for tens of thousands of people.
