He could be best known for his two laws of planetary motion. These laws include planets move in orbits shaped like an ellipse, and a line between a planet and the Sun covers equal areas in equal times. One of his main inventions included the Keplerian Telescope, which is used for viewing distant objects, and allows for a much wider field of view with greater eye relief, with the image for the viewer being inverted.
