1. the saints show us how we should trust God in every circumstance and God can even make good come out of evil. St Thomas More wrote to his daughter in jail: "Nothing can come but that which God wills. And I make me very sure that whatsoever that be, seem it never so bad in sight, it shall indeed be the best."
