A man was walking down the street in the middle of the night. The police thought he looked suspicious, so they began asking him questions. Although the police were not sure that the man had done anything wrong, the man didn’t have a good explanation for why he was up in the middle of the night, so they took him to jail. Is this a violation of his rights? Why or why not?
