KATANGIAN NG SPARTA

Ang Sparta ay isang lungsod estado sa timog na bahagi ng peninsulang Gresya

Kilala din ang Sparta sa tawag na Peloponnesus. Pinaninirahan ito ng mga tintawag na Dorian na mga ninuno ng mga Spartan at ang pangunahing hanapbuhay ay pagsasaka.

LIPUNAN NG SPARTA

Spartiate - kinabibilangan ng mga sundalo at mamamayan

Periocci - mga mangangalakal at malayang tao

Helot - mga tagabungkal ng lupa

PAGSASANAY NG SPARTAN

Ang mga sanggol sa Sparta ay sinusuri ng isang komite kung malakas ba o mahina. Ang mga mahihina ay tinatapon sa bangin.

Ang mga lalaki ay nananatili sa barracks habang ang mga babae ay sa bahay lamang.
