The writings from the Declaration of independence can be called hypocritical because although they faut for freedom and the dream that "All men are created equal"... they were openly denying the freedom of People of color and the equality of women. in fact only rich, white men where the blue print of this constitution. women and people of color where not taken into consideration when writing this, so no. all men, in their eyes, where not created equal.

Well I think when we say that all men are equal that is not particularly true as a matter a fact some of the founding fathers were not as wholesome due to the fact that slavery was around then meaning some of the founding fathers were slave masters themselves so really this would be a reason why some people today call them hypocrites.
