After the end of World War II, two different blocs were created. One was the Western front, with the USA and its European allies as the main representatives (and the Western part of Germany and its capital), and the other was the Eastern Bloc, with the USSR and its satellite states as the main representatives (and the Eastern part of Germany and its capital).
