They inform him that a new federal law allows them to confiscate his rifles so that he may not engage in terrorist activities or plot against the US government. Extra Credit: The preamble of the Constitution begins with the line "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union... establish this Constitution for the United States of America." The line, "a more perfect Union," can be interpreted as a reference to the challenges America experienced under its first constitution, the Articles of Confederation. What weaknesses/ challenges did America have under the Articles of Confederation and how did the new Constitution improve on the previous national government model?
