Why is it so important to a president to have the opportunity to appoint a justice to the Supreme Court? a he or she can advise that justice on how to vote on future cases b it makes him or her feel extremely important c the new justice can kick out/replace an existing justice of the president's choice d his/her ideas or political beliefs can be carried on for decades rather than just 4 or 8 years
