Considering the way he dismantled religion on 1970's 'God,' Lennon might be the last person you'd expect to release what's become a perennial holiday favorite. Ever the provocateur, Lennon took the opportunity to encourage Yuletide revelers toward a broader sense of pacifism.

My favorite song from John Lennon, is "Power to the people", which not only got amazing lyrics but I believe really showed us Lennon's impact on society. Because the meaning behind the lyrics was about people as a whole and not a single individual. Since John Lennon was a peace advocate who wanted would peace and people to come together with no separate barrier around us. So the Power with the people, hugely emphasized that everyone has the power to do something together. Especially in the season of giving, because I think the most anyone wants is to have a world with choice, peace, and someone that loves them, that John Lennon barely got as a child.
