I think he is making the film to tell a story about the Holocaust so people can gain more knowledge and interest in it. His motives are very similar because they both have about the same end goal which is the gain of knowledge.

I think Marzynski is making the film so others can see what happened and how Germany is still dismissing this important event. I think he wants to help educate the younger generation on the terrors innocent people were apart of. I don’t believe that his motives are similar because Zbyszek wanted to learn about his family’s history and their lives before the Holocaust, Marzynski is making a document for educational purposes about the Holocaust and life afterward.
