These are just some of the examples over the thirteen-year span (1763-1776) that drove the colonists to seek Independence. Purpose: Understand the significance of the causes of the American Revolution listed in the SE.

Students will write an acrostic poem showing their understanding of events leading to the Declaration of Independence and American Revolutionary War. The acrostic poem will be Causes of the Revolution. All letters must be used in your poem. An image needs to be included on the slide or the document. See example below.
