Sports have taken over many peoples childhood. In my response i will be focusing on american standards of Baseball and Football mostly. Children grow up with having a team of each that they know from their city or their state. Like the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. While im not from there, they are a good example, people from Cincinnati have such a large amount of pride in these teams that even if they are not good, they will support them no matter what. There is a childrens group called the "redheads" that are meant for the children to have pride in their baseball team. children grow up with these sports and the american dream of going to throw a football around with their sibilings and their parents and also waking up early in the morning to go to pratice or a game in the spring and all year round too. Parents instill the childrens want to win and succeed and also become famous players for a professional league. This is why students who are playing want to succeed because on top of all of those reasons, they want scolarships to college. Being good at a sport and excelling in highschool will interest colleges in them. This is giving these children and young adults less debt to have to deal with in the future.
