Based on the passage, what are the two most likely results of Egypt’s successful military campaigns in Nubia and Libya? The Advancement of Egyptian Civilization

Initially, ancient Egyptian civilization was quite basic. Neolithic farmers settled and built villages along the Nile River. Ancient Egyptians alternated between farming and hunting to survive. As the civilization developed, the two separate kingdoms of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt united to form one nation. The pharaoh ruled this land. At first, the pharaoh single-handedly ruled the entire country. However, the pharaoh eventually appointed a grand vizier, or the chief minister, to serve as second-in-command. The chief minister headed all the government departments and reported to the pharaoh. The government transformed into a military state with the establishment of the New Kingdom. With the advancement of ancient Egypt’s military campaigns, Nubia and Libya were conquered and added to the New Kingdom.

The pharaoh appointed a chief minister to assist him in the running of such a vast land.

The military development caused the Egyptians to ignore cultural and archeological development.

Egypt devised a system to maintain friendly relations with the conquered lands.

The pharaoh proposed a pact with other neighboring lands to prevent them from attacking Egypt.

The Egyptians found it hard to adjust to life with people from Nubia and Libya who now shared their country.
