What's the difference between goth and emo

Emos are sometimes seen as a younger offshoot of the Goth scene , Hodkinson suggests, though emo also has connections to hardcore punk

Sure, they are both music subcultures but emo is who is overly sensitive or emotional and they wear black a lot and seem i guess depressed. goth is more of a fashion.
